We are celebrating the release of my latest book: Strawberry Summer. (Now available to pre-order.) This is the final book in the O’Shaughnessy Chronicles. It centers on Catherine O’Shaughnessy – based on my mother Laura Fitzsimmons — who has been a character in all 4 books.
Now in her 70’s Catherine tends her garden and basks in memories. But news from the past and threats in the present force a major decision. Could she start a new life at her advanced age?
The first 2 novels follow the ups and downs of an Irish-Cornish family in early 20th century Iowa County. These are heartwarming stories based on my mother’s family history in and around Mineral Point, Avoca and Linden.
(Mineral Point was fictionalized as Ashley Springs in my novels.)
