I have a newsletter that I send out every once in a while.

Each edition may include some or all of the following.

  • a feature story exploring an aspect of Wisconsin history
  • outtake chapters from my novels
  • news about upcoming releases and author appearances
  • a Kitchen & Culture feature with a recipe
  • or a Kids’ Corner with educational information or puzzles related to one of my children’s books

You will also have access to past issues of the newsletter. So far we’ve had some great features exploring history and culture of Wisconsin, including the popular Kitchen Corner articles that share traditional recipes of the Cornish and Italian immigrant cultures that settled in Iowa County Wisconsin.

As a newsletter subscriber, you will also receive an email announcement letting you know when I’ve added new content to the Iowa County blog or Real-Life Characters section talks about the real people and history who are reflected in my novels.

I look forward to sharing with you more about the people and places that have inspired the O’Shaughnessy Chronicles and Good Friends Storybooks. I also look forward to helping you get your family’s stories down on paper.

I would love to hear from you, as well. Please send your thoughts on the e-newsletter, including suggestions for future content and feedback on my tips for writing your family’s story, to novels@haroldwilliamthorpe.com.

Enjoy!

Harold William Thorpe
