Many families whose ancestors settled in Wisconsin after immigrating from Ireland in the 19th Century have passed down traditional recipes. Boxty, Irish stew, and Dublic coddle remain staples, today, on their tables.

But in other cases, old recipes have been lost. Or, first-generation Americans were determined to blend into their new surroundings, and cast off former ways, including traditional food.

So, we have collected some Irish recipe resources for you. Hopefully, they will be of interest to those of Irish descent, and to those of other ethnic backgrounds who seek to prepare a traditional Irish meal.
